aztec nursery inspiration
We are 30 weeks into our first pregnancy and we are soooo excited to meet our little tater tot in September. This baby is such a blessing from God as we were told that I wouldn’t get pregnant without some medical intervention. It just goes to show that God’s plan is far greater than any other plan.
When we found out our little babe was a boy we were beyond words excited! We didn’t care what the gender was either way because we just feel so blessed to be having a baby.
We started planning right away for his nursery or should I say, I started planning right away. I am obsessed with tribal/aztec type decor with lots of arrows and geometric shapes. Which is what inspired the theme for Grayson’s nursery.
I started pinning away images of beautifully bright nurseries with all sorts of aztec/tribal prints and soon came up with my own ideas based on what I found. I took ideas from all over the Pinterest world to pull this board together. Here is my aztec nursery inspiration board.
I am currently in the process of pulling his room together little by little. I spent the month of June in Iowa with my family and my mom and I were able to make his crib sheets. We made 3 different sheets with different aztec prints. I’m currently working on the crib skirt and will be starting on his crib quilt and changing pad cover.
I absolutely love that I am able to create custom bedding for my little one. It has been so fun and it’s really rewarding. So much love is going into the creation of his sweet little room.
The finished photos of baby Grayson’s adorable nursery will be shared in the next month or so. We will see how productive I am these next few weeks. The Texas heat is killing me and pregnancy insomnia is kicking in!
